Finalità
La finalità delle onorificiente è "segnalare come degni di pubblico onore gli autori di atti di eroismo militare, anche compiuti in tempo di pace, purché l'impresa sia strettamente connessa alle finalità per le quali le Forze militari dello Stato sono costituite, qualunque sia la condizione e la qualità dell'autore".
